Thankful

Nothing much is going on today. Ron and I both have to work though he does get off at 5:00 tonight (they are shutting down the AC to fix something in it). It will be strange to have us both home by 5:30 but I’m thankful for that time with him.

I’m thankful for how God puts things in front of me, filling my soul with just what I need to focus on ~ it is usually related to something I have been thinking about or a situation at work or here in the campground or ???? This morning I received a devotion from https://ashlanrae.com/ ~ todays devotional was full of little things that resonated with me:

The Gem that really jumped out at me was “You don’t have to be ready ~ you just have to be willing.” Be willing. Sometimes I don’t feel like I am willing but I do continue to put one foot in front of the other.

Yesterday I received a card from a sweet friend and one of the things she wrote was “thank you for always being there for me” and I thought of course, isn’t that what friends are for? And then I thought I am so blessed for all the friends I have in my life – not Facebook friends (though I like them too) but for those who know me, have stuck with me and continue to be a part of my life. I am truly blessed.

Do you have a friend like that in your world? I sure hope so.
