Vacation Day 3 ~

Had a great night’s sleep and woke up before the alarm went off ~ that’s always a good sign that I got enough rest.

Today was a long day in the making ~ Coffee w/my Bestie!! I don’t know who was more excited but the hugs we shared when we met up at Wood’s just after 10:00 am. What a great time we had together. We continued our visit over at Bob’s Burger & Brew for a great lunch and more visiting. And before we knew it our “old bodies” were saying they had had enough sitting in hard chairs. And so we called it a day. Tentative plans were made for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – to be determined each morning.

But alas, no pictures were taken 😒maybe another time.

Enjoyed another nap!! And another evening with a drive around the areas we used to call home…going to the bay to watch the sunset, dinner with friends, surprising by an impromptu visit and just enjoying down time.

Again, we are very thankful for this vacation to reconnect with friends and family and get our batteries recharged.

Can’t believe three of seventeen days have passed already!! The saying “time passes fast when you are having fun!” On to Day 4!!!
