First off, thank you all for your prayers for our friends K & J ~ I haven’t seen an update yet today so I’m taking the old adage “no news is good news.”
Friday ~ it seems like it has taken all month to get here but we made it. Work has been crazy – it’s time for our annual electronic inventory – sometimes I think getting staff (and PCSD has a lot of staff) to bring their electronics to the District Office or school office is like herding cats.
Today I will be making calls for the last eight to remind them to come in and get ‘er done, as Larry the Cable guy would say 😉
Tuesday took all day and it was only 11:00a. Yesterday it was 2:44 three times when I looked at the clock. Today time should move like it should – I have front desk coverage for breaks so my day will be watching the clock, taking my breaks later than normal ~ the best part after the 3:00 break I will only have about 75 minutes till the workday is over.
I’m sitting here at the breakfast bar at B & D’s home listening to the boys chatter back and forth at each other, Ron trying to engage them in conversation and realizing two things – I enjoy my quiet mornings while getting ready for work but at the same time I miss having conversations with our boys as they would get ready for the day.
I really don’t know what to write about but I’m trying to stay consistent on writing every day. I just told Ron I don’t know what to write about and he said “how can that be “you’ve never met a word you didn’t like.” That may be true but today they are keeping their distance. 😂🤣
