I just want to give a quick shout out to each of you who have sent me an email, a text, commented on my last posts and being on my encouragement team! I love and appreciate y’all!! Thank you for encouraging me!!!
I’m excited and a bit nervous about starting this new job but the excitement definitely outweighs all the nervousness I’m experiencing.
I feel like I have a million things to get done before the first day but in reality the things needing done are my normal every day stuff…like organizing my medication for the next two weeks, organizing my tops ~ what goes with a skort or leggings and digging into the abyss of packed clothes to see if I have any slacks ~ I just don’t think shorts and a tank top are considered business casual LOL.
I also need to clean out and inventory our freezer and and then get some crock pot meals on the schedule ~ that’s where I need some help ~ do you have a favorite crockpot recipe
that when cooked on high is done in less than 5 hours? Why the time limit ~ well I need to put the meal into the crockpot and get it started, it needs to be ready for Ron to eat between 12:00 and 12:30p. After he eats he can turn it down to low or warm so I will have dinner when I get home at 4:30p. We don’t mind leftovers, so enough for two meals would be great!
I also need to figure out my crochet projects that have been ordered and committed to, to be able to get them delivered in a timely manner. I have played around with a schedule of how I think my day’s will be during the work week…lists and more lists are being made…LOL
In my mind, my schedule will look something like this:
- Up between 5:30-5:45a – bring on the ☕️
- Quick walk with Charlie
- Feed Charlie
- Get dinner in the crockpot
- Make lunches for Ron and I
- Eat breakfast
- Get ready for the day and out the door between 6:55-7:00a
After looking at the list, I think I had better get up between 5:15-5:30a LOL
My work schedule will be 7:30a to 4:00p with a half hour break for lunch. We are conveniently only 2.2 miles from the District Offices with a 7 minute commute ~ at least that is what Google Maps says LOL
Monday’s I will be picking up Alex for dinner and then Grammy time with him and Treyson while Christopher is at Scouts. After taking the boys home for their bedtime, back to our little home on wheels, showering and whatever needs to be done before I crash for the night!
Tuesday thru Friday I plan to be home by 4:30p to take Charlie for a walk and then complete my daily stuff: eat dinner, feed Charlie, have my devotional and prayer time, take Charlie for his nightly walk, shower and then spend an hour or two working on my crocheting and writing projects. WHEW ~ I’m tired just writing that out LOL
Need feedback ~ How does that tentative schedule sound? Suggestions and ideas are welcome!!
That’s all for now!
