Us!

Ron & Ali were married on December 20, 1975.  She was 18 and he was 20.

In December 2017 they celebrated 42 years of marriage.  They have climbed many mountains and walked through many valleys but through it all the Lord has guided them, loved them, protected them and blessed them.

Our family includes son, Jamie, his wife, Suzanne and their sweet daughter, Opal, age 9.   They currently live in Western WA in their new home which they purchased Fall 2012.

Our other son, Brandon, his wife, Danalyn have four boys!!!  Max is 19and loves everything Boise State University & basketball,  younger brothers, Christopher, also age 9  loves to do everything that Max does, Treyson age 6, is a little clone of Christopher who lets everyone know that he is his own person 🙂 and Alexander who just turned 5 in December 2017.

As our kids like to say in our previous life Ron was a plumber/general contractor and Ali held many positions including church secretary of our home church, Northwood Alliance Church, school secretary for HomeConnection, a PPP with Blaine School District, Office Manager for OptionCare and Case-manager for the Coalition for Child Advocacy.

Once we began full time RV living and working we have worked for the carnival (Funtastic Shows out of Portland, OR), sold Christmas trees for Noel Christmas Trees in Edmond, WA and then as Campground Managers in Hondo, TX and Branson, MO.  We were in Cedar Creek, MO working at GUMI Camp USA.  We were Co-Managers for a 55+ community in Newberg, OR and the HomeParents in Waco, TX.  Currently we are checking for new job  opportunities.

Update December 2018 ~  this month we celebrate 43 years of marriage and are currently living in Pecos, TX working as gate guards in the oil fields of West Texas.  Jamie and his family still live in Western WA and Brandon and his family are now in Florida, well with the exception of Max who joined the US Marine Corp this past July and is now in school in Virginia Beach.  He is following in his dad’s footsteps doing and learning about cyber security.

Our motto is ~ We will go wherever the Lord leads us and whenever he tells us its time for a change.  We give thanks everyday for the many blessings we have in our lives. Our most precious blessings are our children and grandchildren.

Some of our interests include: reading, writing, going for drives and most of all spending time with our family and friends, and sharing God’s love with others.
