Feeling frustrated!

Have you ever had a day where you have a bunch of tasks that need to get done and it seems everyone you start there is some major issue ~ that’s me today!

I got a letter from Humana that says “your appeal has been approved ~ click here.” Well I cicked here and absolutely nothing happened. Was doing it on my phone so thought maybe it has to be from the computer. Nope same stuff happening. Sent Humana an email – haven’t heard anything back…there are 27 days left in this month but you take away the weekends and two days for the Christmas holiday and I am left with 16 maybe 17 days to see an endocrinologist – I am so frustrated. And it doesn’t help that my BG (Blood Glucose in case you were wondering) are all over the board and make absolutely no sense.

At lunch today, I figured out the carbs including the piece of chocolate cherry cheesecake that one of my coworkers made for me to celebrate my birthday. I’m calling this my Birthday Week since every day someone has wished me a Happy Birthday or did a little something for me. Back to my BG – I then figured out what the insulin should be and gave myself a shot – that was at 1:20p (I had late lunch because I had Front Desk Break Coverage today). At 2:35 my CGM alarm went off…my BG was falling rapidly and was down to 66!! What the heck????

Checked with a finger stick ~ yep it showed down to 69 – so I drank a bottle of water, took some deep breaths, chewed a nasty glucose tablet and watched my number go down to 58 – okay allow time for my body to absorb the glucose — covered the front desk from 3:00 to 3:15, went for a short walk for my break and at 3:40 it was up to 71!! Well at least it was going in the right direction. Since then my numbers have been as low as 69 (again) and as high as 96!! And the doctors say “your numbers are good” – I texted Ron and it’s a good thing I know he loves me…I told him I was so sick of being a diabetic that something needs to give soon before I literally go crazy!!

Finished up with work, drove home and while walking up the stairs I felt dizzy – yep my BG was down to 69!!!

I had some things that needed to be done after work…hang up my clothes ~ I am so thankful for a hubby who loves me and does our laundry every week! I had to sign a form for the campground through Docusign – it came to my email but was requesting Ron’s information!!! I had to call him at work to get that information. But I was able to get it completed, and Ron will go into the office tomorrow morning to confirm the $$ amount – it is for storing the old trailer which we still need to get rid of. But that means I need some pictures that just don’t seem to get taken 😒and with the Christmas holidays coming I doubt it will be taken away before January which means another payment for storage. But can’t change that so need to just let it go and do what I can when I can.

On to the next job to be done…put the dishes away…damn, something is blocking the silverware drawer so the silverware went back into the drainer.

On to my blog…I would really like to figure out how to lighten up the background on this them (Nouvelle)…I have followed the instructions by WordPress but nothing seems to change. So I did the only thing I could – picked a different color and am now writing this blog post.

My mind is racing of what needs to happen on Friday and Saturday before

Sunday Ron has to work so either we need to do some grocery shopping Saturday evening or I go by myself on Sunday while he is working at the school. Also, sometime this weekend I need to read two chapters in

for my Leadership class on Tuesday evening. I also need to make sure I have everything is ready for Monday, Wednesday & Thursday because this Grammy is doing the books for the Angeline Academy of Innovation Boys Basketball for their three home games this week.

Plus work all five days!!! But I can do it…how do I know? Because Poppa God says he will be with me every waking moment of my days and help me to get great rest at night.

Speaking of rest…I need to get something to eat for dinner ~ I know it’s late but better late than never 😁
