Vacation Day 10, Cruise Day 2

Today is a Day at Sea and since we have very limited internet I thought I would do a Blog Prompt! Hope you enjoy it!

Writing Prompt: Today I am grateful for _____________

Today I am grateful for so many things…I thought I would just write from my heart ~

  • My husband…I often think back to our first meeting…Ron said one word to me “Hi” – who would have guessed that that one word would change my life in more ways than I could imagine.
  • Our Boys: Royce, Jamie & Brandon. Even though we only had Royce in our life for three days, some days I miss him terribly and wonder what our life would have been like with him actively in our life.
Jamie came into this world at not even 4 lbs. So many days were spent wondering if he would make it. Our relationship has been filled with lots of joy & sorrow, many tears and lots of laughter and we are so proud of the man he has grown into, wonderful husband and dad. We have been blessed with a sweet daughter-in-love and precious granddaughter.
Brandon is our Valentine baby – the day he was born he quickly got named “Moose.” We’ve had a few health scares with Brandon and give thanks to Poppa God for keeping him healthy. He is now also married to our other daughter-in-love and we have been blessed with four grandsons and a bonus granddaughter. We tell him often how proud of the young man he has become and the great husband and dad he has become.
  • Friends who have become Framily – way too many to name, because I am sure I would forget one or two or ??? but our “framily” has grown as we have travelled and lived in so many different places. The best part about having framily is that even it is weeks, months and even years between visits we always pick up right where we were and are.
  • I’m blessed to have a precious Aunt Joan, cousins LeeAnn and Mike who keep in touch pretty regularly and many more who are there when we reach out or they reach out to us. I’m also blessed to have an awesome niece…who we have precious memories of times together and who we are getting to spend time with on this cruise!
  • We are both thankful for our current jobs: Ron as a custodian at Charles S Rushe MS and me as secretary at the Pasco County School District office as secretary to the Supervisor of the Psychology department. We have both made friends at our different workplaces. We are enjoying our much needed vacation but are also looking forward to getting back to work on May 28th.

I could go on and on, but the sky is turning dark which is my que to head to bed.

Can you name three to five things/people you are thankful for?

Please let me know what you think?
