The past three days have been a whirlwind of visits, one rough night of sleep, lots of coffee and too many hugs to count ~ but who’s counting? Not me!!
We ended day 4 visiting with Keith & Beth, a surprise visit with Katherine S and then meeting new and old friends during dinner and Bible study. It was good to fellowship and study God’s word. Dinner was lasagna, salad, garlic bread and a variety of cheesecake. Lots of hugs were shared and we were told by many to not let eight years pass before we visit Blaine again.
Day 5 began with a lazy morning and then going to visit Glenn & Marla – so fun to catch up, hear about where they attend worship services at an Anglican church in Bellingham. We shared about our kids, our grands and the many activities the grands are involved in. Brought back many memories of soccer games, basketball games, Little League tournaments, sharing in Bible studies and church campouts.
Wednesday evening, we met our son, Jamie and his family at, Cedars, a local restaurant in Ferndale for an early dinner. We chuckled when the waitress brought Ron his coffee ~~

Do you see it?
Answer will be revealed at end of the blog post.
We shared appetizers and then Ron & I shared a meatloaf and baked potato. It was so good to see all the family and hear about O’s school days, her pet pig, Phoebe as well the cats and dogs. It was wonderful to visit and share a meal together.
After dinner Ron and I drove around the bay, enjoyed sitting at the beach watching the water lap at the shore and seeing so many people enjoying time at the beach. Reminiscing about many dinners with the boys at the Beach. One memory was of B trying to get J into trouble for being pulled over and J trying to get B into trouble for drinking and puking on the way home from Bellingham.

Answer to the picture above…the coffee mug was from Ferndale School District Foundation and we both work for Pasco County School District. Talk about laughter!!!
