I’m bummed that I was too tired to write a blog post yesterday…38 days in a row I had written here…but yesterday I was tired. I just didn’t know how tired I was…yesterday after work I came home and walked Charlie, came back in the trailer and heated up some pizza and sat down in the recliner ~ the next thing I knew it was 8:00 and I was waking up in the recliner with the plate still in my hand. I guess I was tired.
On the other hand, I’m excited I did 38 days of writing! And starting a new personal challenge to see how many days I can do this time. It will take some work because I have to plan for the days we will be cruising but I think I’m up to the challenge. Are you going to follow along and see if I can pass 38 days in a row of writing/posting blogs?
Changing the topic ~ in the last two weeks, two of our friends have passed away. J from K&J passed away after a hard-fought battle against MRSA. I have chatted with K a couple of times. She is staying at the campground she was at for 4 more weeks as she tries to recuperate from exhaustion as well as not feeling too well herself. Please keep her in your prayers for guidance and the decisions she needs to make over the next few weeks.
On another note, we heard today that one of the many men we have met over the past six years passed away early this morning after over 4 years of battling Male Metastatic Breast Cancer.
Danny Riggs
is not fighting any more…he is resting in the arms of Jesus, with no more pain, no more chemo or trips to the hospital. He left behind his sweet wife, Sarah and their children. Danny was a member of Man Up for Cancer and The CARE Project, Inc. and encouraged every man he met that MEN get breast cancer too! Danny is loved and will be missed by many. I’ve been thinking about what is important in this world as we shed tears for those we have lost both recently and in the years past – always let those you love know you love them!!! And to live each day to the fullest!

Please let me know what you think?
