Thoughts…

So many thoughts going through my mind…excitement for our vacation – 23 days till we head to Washington and a total of 30 days till we land in Seattle for our cruise to Alaska and reconnecting with my niece and her hubby. Sadness for the news coming out of Tallahassee…so sorry for those who lost their lives, those with serious injuries and all of their families. Even the shooter’s family – the actions of one has caused so much trauma for so many people.

Update from K & J – J has been moved to a rehab center and has already had assessments by the PT & OT and eating a few bites of soft food. Please continue to keep them both in your prayers as they continue the fight for J to get stronger and K to remain strong as she supports J.

As well, please keep cousin R and her family in your prayers as she is just beginning the long healing process from her horrible fall and broken bones. I’m hoping to be able to connect with her and A while we are home in WA.

Ron was a busy Grandpa over the past week as he attended the Q3 Honors Award ceremonies for all three boys here in Florida.

All three boys attend Angeline Academy of Innovation. It is a magnet school. Christopher is in the Cyber Security program and Treyson is in the Engineering program. Alexander hasn’t declared his pathway yet, but he is thinking of Cyber Security like his Dad.

I am so thankful the workweek is over for this week. I slept in till almost 10:30a! It felt wonderful. Today we both have doctor our quarterly doctor appointments ~ just our regular 3 month checkup. I need to remember to ask about the seasick patches. 30 days till we board the NCL Encore!!! 23 days to be back in our hometown and reconnect with family and friends.

Tomorrow I have a much needed eye appointment – I called and made my appointment over the phone so I would not have a replay of last Saturday. I’m just hoping my new glasses are in before we leave on our trip.
