Thinking Out Loud!

I’m not even sure where to start! I have so many thoughts running through my head so I’m just going to share from my heart, in no particular order ~

  • I am so thankful for the new friends I am making here in Land O Lakes.
  • I am thankful that my depression is floating away more and more every day.
  • I am amazed how the Lord just keeps showing up and showing off in my life!
  • I love how God takes things from different parts of my life and just keeps bringing them together. Let me explain: as many of you know I started the 40 Day Sugar Fast this past weekend. Yesterday I joined a new ladies Bible study and it is just amazing how God took something from yesterday’s Bible study and reminded me of it again this morning ~ in a nutshell put on the Armor of God before getting out of bed in the mornings. Yesterday at Bible study, Ada shared something she remembered from a Beth Moore study about how perfect the day was going BUT that was before her feet hit the floor!

In my reading this morning Wendy Speakes shares this image: hold the helmet of the Armor of God in your hands when you get out of bed, then turn the helmet to put it on and allow the blood of Jesus to cover me with His Armor and protection for the whole day!!! How amazing is that.
  • I am thankful for the little things ~ like being blessed with a delightful and healthful dinner of Chicken Mango Salad from Brandon & Danalyn yesterday. It’s definitely something I will have to make in the future as Ron raved about it multiple times. Here’s a peek of the deliciousness:
    ~ Doesn’t that look yummy!!
  • So thankful and blessed by so many friends from near and far that helped us out financially over the past few months with our crazy move from Kentucky to New Jersey to Florida ~ so thankful that worry about money is not the first thing I am thinking of in the mornings nor the last thing I think of when I fall asleep!

What are you thankful for today?

I love this and am so happy your starting to feel the depression lifting. You are loved and you really need to share the recipe for that salad. Looks so delicious!
